Our 2nd lab had a relevant topic for today’s world: Circular Economy in the Fashion Industry. Hosted by our partners from ITMBO, Chamber of Textile Manufacturers of İzmir, with the collaboration of Circular Berlin and Arianna Nicoletti from Future Fashion Forward, we had another lab with seven days of sessions.
Arianna presented her research about critical points inside of the textile industry. We were pleased to be introduced to this amazing tool, Close the Loop. The tool is a guide for fashion entrepreneurs to navigate through the basics of a more sustainable way of working in fashion.
Also, we had a lovely workshop on how to transform an old pair of jeans in many other useful products. The founder of Senemiskoo, directly from Turkey, taught us how to cut and sew it!
